Knowledge Communities

.

NASPA's Knowledge Communities (KCs) serve as small communities based on functional areas and identities that allow individuals to find their place of belonging within a large organization. These KCs serve as content experts and communities of support for Student Affairs. I found my NASPA home through the Asian Pacific Islander KC and they are still the individuals I contact. Each KC has a leadership team, and you can find more information on how to get involved in the NASPA Volunteer Portal.

Explore any of the individual KCs below to learn more. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

How to Join a KC
As a NASPA member, you are welcome to join as many KCs as you like. Joining connects you with key information from the KC about upcoming events, resources and involvement opportunities.

Steps to join:

  1. Login to naspa.org by clicking the Green "Login" button in the top center of the page.
  2. Under “My NASPA”, click on “Edit My Profile” and scroll down the page until you see "NASPA Engagement Details."
  3. You will see the KCs that you are currently a member of; if your membership to a Knowledge Community is not listed, please add it.
  4. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page.
  5. Await incredible communications and resources from your Knowledge Community leaders.

The biennial NASPA Knowledge Community Publication is a collaborative effort with contributions from the KCs.
